This will sound cliche but is 💯 true: I couldn’t have done it without you. The brioche recipe is perfect. Every time, except when the yeast is dead. 😂 I’m grateful for your investment of time to answer my questions. You’re making an impact on SW Louisville. 💗💕💗
Very inspiring! We are Orthodox Christians and receive communion every Sunday. In preparation for communion we fast, and it is traditional to break the fast together during what we call “coffee hour.” Because our parish is small (120 or so) we have either potluck or teams to prepare lunch for us all to enjoy together and fellowship. There are real food people, and those who are not. It’s a labor of love both to bring from scratch dishes to share, and also to realize not everyone who brings is at that point in their lives to recognize the importance of real food. I just eat what I know will nourish me, it is a challenge for the kids and I give them autonomy on Sundays (except for my two dairy free and my grain free). So that means I always pack a little meat when it isn’t my day to bring food, so my people have a little something good, and can add to from that.
You are next level, Julie. I felt this when I met you. Now I know it to be true.
I’m not really sure what that means Janine but I’mma gonna take it as a compliment.
But also, feelings are mutual towards you. If only I could love liver. Maybe I should say “Love you like my liver”? Is that the Persian phrase?
The bread was wonderful!
I hope you try the recipe!! You can do it!!
You did it 👏👏👏👏👏

This is wonderful ⬆️. And I’m glad you bring more protein for your family. It’s usually lacking at potlucks, in my experience.
