Do you mill your own flour? What mill do you use? Have my heart set on trying!! Asking for one for Christmas. 🤞 Would love any tips or tricks with that if you have them! :)
Hi Shelby! yes I mill my flour with a Classic NutriMill. I bought it 10 (?) years ago based on what a friend had. It has performed great for me...I don't have complaints. However I didn't do any research nor did I know what questions to ask.
Recently I was at a friend's house. She has a beautiful, compact, Harvest Grain NutriMill that looks like bamboo on the exterior. It is aesthetically pleasing and sits atop her counter. Mine is huge and boring white plastic and I keep it tucked in the cabinet.
I don't necessarily want my grain mill to sit on my counter but if you were -- the Harvest Grain NutriMill is beautiful and compact. It is more expensive. Mine gets the job done and I won't buy another anytime soon. It has a huge container that collects flour -- that sometimes makes a mess if I don't get it properly attached; it blows flour everywhere. I don't think you'd have the same problems with the Harvest Grain one because of how the flour comes out...Look at pictures of each model.

Happy to answer any other questions.
I love your style. You inspire me over and over again! xo
Oh Janine. The feelings are so very mutual. If only I could be as brave (& consistent!!) as your organ eating self.
